Our mission is to provide an exceptional program for children in which they may learn and grow physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually within a safe and loving environment.
We believe that children learn best in a creative play-based learning environment. We provide a curriculum which engages and challenges children to express their individuality and creativity. Children are given time to think, explore and investigate the world around them. Our goal is to have children develop confidence in their own abilities and ideas, and to cultivate a love of learning. When children leave our school for kindergarten, we want them to have a solid foundation of skills, a strong belief in themselves and their abilities, and empathy and understanding for others.
All teachers at Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education. Each teacher has years of experience in working with young children. They are all mothers themselves, and care for your child the way they would want their own child cared for. The entire staff at Good Shepherd is fingerprinted and background checked. In addition, all are trained in First Aid and CPR.
We are a nut-free school and take special care to protect children who have allergies to nuts or other foods and substances.
